I think I dedicated at least four posts here to the stray pup we found on the streets of Los Angeles earlier this year, right? For your information, little Kiffin is adjusting quite nicely to his new life. He’s still hobbling around on three legs but we were just talking that it’s probably a good time to move forward with his hip surgery. Well, Kiffy boy has a big sister. Her name is Clancy and she’s our Hungarian Vizsla (pronounced VEEZH-luh). She’s a bundle of nerves and is highly neurotic. She snores. She loves chasing lizards in the backyard though is too scared to actually catch one. She will growl at the ever so slight rumblings of a UPS truck coming up our street. And she turns ten today.
She wore a faded pink ribbon around her neck and was the only female left in the bunch of puppies we saw that day in May. We were the lucky ones. She’s been a loyal companion through and through. I know we may not have many more years with her and I dread that inevitable day. Until then, I will continue to cherish the days we do have.

She’s gorgeous! Happy 10th birthday, Clancy!
Thanks Chrissy!!
What a sweetheart- she’s beautiful. I love the professional photos- I should do that for my sweet girl. I’m totally going to copy you and do a post about our dog!
You should! The dogs are a huge part of our family and I don’t think they should be neglected! Plus, there are definitely readers out there who’d love to read about your pet!
I love that you have professional photos of your dog. You’ll never regret that!
I’ll never forget how expensive they were either!
She has a human face! Not all animals have that- it’s very special,
