Last week I was invited to attend a Not So Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Social hosted by the CALIFORNIA MILK ADVISORY BOARD and I may have indulged just a little bit. Or… a lot a bit. I couldn’t pass up the Cannoli Gelato Sandwiches, Peanut Butter Brittle Ice Cream Pops, or Floating Blueberry California Cobblers! The last one being my absolute favorite!
My little one and I recently decided that every Monday this summer should be ICE CREAM MONDAY so thankfully the folks at the California Milk Advisory Board gave us the recipes to make these delicious desserts — and I think they are perfect for Ice Cream Monday!
Floating Blueberry California Cobbler
Makes 1 float

- 1⁄4 cup blueberries
- 1⁄2 cup blueberry-flavored soda (such as Izze Sparkling Blueberry)
- 1 sugar cookie, crushed (about 1 tablespoon) Ground cinnamon
In a serving glass, alternate layers of ice cream and blueberries. Pour soda into the glass until it reaches the top and ice cream is floating. Top with crumbled sugar cookie and a dash of cinnamon. Sip and smile!

The question is…which one are you making first?
This is a non-sponsored post. The California Milk Advisory Board graciously invited me to this event and I’m pleased to share these delicious recipes with my readers. All opinions are of my own.
